AllStar Therapy, LLC is proud to introduce to you, our STAR Modality Program. As you know, our mission is to provide the highest quality of service for our clients and the patients we serve. To do this, AllStar is now offering our therapists the latest modalities for their centers. To ensure comfort with the provision of such modalities, we have designed a training program for our therapists. We understand that in today’s world of evidence based practice, we must provide services that stay ahead of clinical practice and are supported by research.

The program will begin with modality training by the Chattanooga Specialist.

The next phase of training will be ongoing inservicing. Dr. Paul Higgins DPT, ATC, CSCS Professor at the University of Hartford will be performing in-services on a monthly basis for AllStar therapists. Training for the modalities will begin with Modality 101 so that therapists can re-orient themselves to the use of the modalities and the support of such modalities in today’s evidence based treatment environment. Additional in-services will be performed on the use of modalities based on specific resident diagnosis. The format of all in-services will include:

• Discussion of patient population and use
• Discussion of current literatureSpecific patient cases
• Lab time
• Questions and answers

Following each in-service, each therapist will receive appropriate CEU’s and CEH’s for their time.

We are so pleased to be able to offer you such a program. Each center will be given marketing literature on the services that you are able to offer. You will be able to hand out this educational material to patients, family and referring physicians. With such a wonderful clinical team and the most advanced technology, we will only continue to "Reach for the Stars"!
